The Uranus Company
The theater company Uranus is a non-profit organization founded in 2004 with the aim of setting up, creating and realizing theater projects in connection with the social environment.
The objectives of the company are to create and promote shows, events or artistic workshops that are related to social concerns.
"The theater is an art which can only exist if it is shared. My approach is therefore also a process of sharing.
I have been active on the Swiss French stage for more than 20 years, and my artistic career has often brought me closer to the "social aspect of the city". I try to always be very careful not to diminish-to distort my artistic acts by simply making them social mediators. It is very important for me that a work of art (theatrical, pictorial, musical, etc ...) remains above all a work of art in its own right, even if it falls within a very defined social framework. Maintaining this kind of requirement is as beneficial to the work as it is to the audience to whom it is addressed. My experience and my sensitivity have always prompted me to propose or take part in projects where the artistic approach is part of an eminently contemporary (social) reality ".

Artistic approach
The approach of the Uranus Company starts from people to go towards the act or the artistic object, rather than to take an independent artistic object or act to go towards the people. It is for this reason that it’s often works outside the cultural structures (theater or cultural center).
Through this approach, the Uranus Company creates an interaction between art, the creative act and the spectator, allowing an exchange, a proximity pushing the viewer to be also actor of what is proposed to him. Through its projects, Uranus Co. seeks above all the meeting.
Uranus Co wants to deepen the encounter with the Other and for this reason her projects are inscribed in a well defined social universe :
